Malta hosts an international project on inclusion and integration

“26 youth workers and experts from Europe are gathered in Malta from 17th to 22nd November 2016 under an Erasmus Training Course managed by SEYF Malta to deal with integration and inclusion”

Malta, 17th november 2016 – The project Colours of the Wind is an international training course runned by SEYF Malta from 17th to 22nd November 2016 and supported by the European Programme Erasmus Plus through EUPA National Agency.

The training course is bringing together 26 youth leaders and youth workers from Hungary, Italy, Malta, Poland, Spain, Greece, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia and Germany.

Following on from a series of initiatives to tackle the current refugee crisis announced by the European Commission to address issues around social cohesion and the integration of refugees and migrants, the training will cover the hot topic of social inclusion and marginalization an actual topic especially in Malta when considering the high number of young migrants that arrive on our coasts. Its overall aim is training and enabling youth workers, leaders and youngsters on the way to use different models and tools for the integration of minorities, especially young migrants in society.
"We will try to set a network that fosters practical tools for changing the way migrations are dealt in this current historical moment" -  the organizers said - "as we need a more inclusive Europe more focused on people".

The activities are going to implemented at Bugibba, at San Pawl Hotel.
