Un CAS a impatto zero

Un Centro di accoglienza... green!

A center for asylum seekers... green!

è tutto biologico e a km0!

#FUNFACT: Did you know behind the CAS of Santa Cesarea there’s a little farm?

Sometimes when we’re working at the center we like to take a little time to go visit a group of very special friends we have there. This center used to be an agrotourism centre, therefore they try to carry an ecological and bio friendly way of life. There’s a lot of goats of different types which they use for producing milk and cheese. They also have a beautiful brown horse who likes a lot to be feeded.

Besides animals they have a huge garden where you can find a lot of vegetables and fruits, and the best of it.. it’s all organic!

This farm is not only good for our environment and for us to enjoy a better and healthier lifestyle, it’s algo good because some of the migrants of the center works helping the owners with the maintenance of the farm and they lend them a hand with the animals.

As you can imagine is a really interesting lifestyle and we should think about starting a healthier lifestyle eating less processed products and start being aware of what we eat and where does it come from. Lately we are seeing all over the news and the internet how important it is taking care of our planet… Imagine a social center completely self sufficient. Imagine the world. Let’s start!
